iRDM USB

The RDM technology allows a bi-directional communication between the RDM Controller and the RDM devices composing the system. In this way it is possible to access some configuration features of all the RDM devices of the system such as the remote assignment of their communication address and to obtain information regarding their function status or possible anomalies. iRDM USB is an electronic key for PC that allows to manage RDM devices through a simple provided app. Once connected to the USB port in your PC and to the line of RDM devices through the 5-pole XLR connector, it is possible to activate the “Discovery” function that allows to detect and identify all the RDM devices in the system with the subsequent possibility of remotely setting the features of each device, in particular its address and name in the system. Thanks to this interface, realizing and setting up a RDM system is extremely easy and quick.
